Tinder: makes it easy to find a partner
Looks like the popular matchmaking service Tinder
has understood that users may not always find it easy to manually
search for partners, studying each profile before swiping right or
'nitpicking' them. To make the work easier, Tinder has now introduced
'Super Likeable', an artificial intelligence feature that promises to do
all the 'heavy lifting' for users.
Super Likeable will make it easier for users to search for people. It would pick the potential partners for you based on your interests. "Super Likeable is a new artificial intelligence-powered experience that aims to delight and surprise with a simple and fun new format to introduce you to people we think will be of special interest to you. When a user comes across the Super Likeable feature, they'll receive a free Super Like they can send to one of the four people we've presented to you," said Tinder in a blog post.
The company says that there is no way to manually find this feature or
switch it on. It is supposed to show up automatically while you swipe.
"If you land on it, it means you just earned one free Super Like that
you can send to any of the four people presented to you on that card.
Right then. Right there. Right on," says Tinder.
Also mentioned is that if a user sends a Super Like, it increases his/her likelihood of matching by three times. But unfortunately, the Super Likeable feature is currently in testing phases in New York City and Los Angeles. Hopefully it will reach other countries soon.
It is worth adding that the introduction of Super Likeable comes almost a month after the arrival of 'Reactions'. Reactions are animated responses that you can send to someone on Tinder instead of typing and sending words, just to make the conversation fun.
Users would simply have to open a Tinder conversation, tap on the smiley icon and select a Reaction to send it.
